Good thing he's cute...
Rhett's swim coach quizzed his sweet little class on what to do in certain situations regarding water safety.
"What will you do if you accidentally fall in the pool?" asks (super fun military) swim coach.
He quickly and confidently answers, "We will sink...and die."
Homie...you just flunked the writing portion of swim class.
And way to make your other little swim friends cry.
Careful what you ask our growling, sword fightin' bundle of testosterone.
You never know what will come out of this cute little face right now.
(But I assure you it will have the words "toot"and "hiney" thrown in there somehow, accompanied by some pretty realistic gaseous sound effects.)
I love me some Rhett.

Simply Love
I just lost my whole post on this fundraiser...I'm starting to remember one reason I quit blogging;)
Ok, so I'll simplify my last post. mycrazyadoption.com has made this fundraiser so not corny or difficult. Their t-shirt designs, hands down, are my favorite and we are excited to offer them to anyone who would like to be a part of OUR crazy adoption! Just email us (kdsooner@gmail.com) (hello spam) and let us know which one(s) you'd like. All shirts are $25 each, plus $5 shipping, when applicable. (Free shipping for 5 or more shirts.)
Also, all shirts are the super soft, light-weight, cotton blends. Our shirts have not shrunk a bit I'd say AND we picked longer(ish) shirts because we have issues with shrinky short tees.
Let's do this...
FOR THE LADIES
Wonder Woman, fitted (small-2XL) or unisex (small-3XL)
Ladies Fitted Teal (small-2XL) or Unisex (small-3XL)
*please note this FITTED tee runs a tad small so consider ordering one size up! I won't tell anyone;)*
Ladies Fitted Yellow (small-2XL)

For the Misters
Men's Gray (small-3XL)
| And as cute as this computer model is... |
![]() |
...ours is WAY cuter!! |
![]() |
| The men's tee and this youth tee are almost twins. |
Men's Black (small-3XL)
And for the young'ens
Girls Turquoise (med-XL)
| This is like the women's yellow shirt above |
Girls Purple (small-XL)
Youth Black (small-XL)
Youth Gray (small-XL)
Seriously, he's killin' me.

You can only order the shirts, people. Not the kid.
Thank you, friends and family! We wouldn't want to do one step of this without you.

We're EXPECTING!
Oh, this is SO not what you thought! Much to MY delight, I am not birthing another child (EVER!); however, we ARE growing our family through adoption, a decision that was made about two years ago and is now coming to fruition. We officially started the paperwork in March and realized we never officially announced our "paper pregnancy". My memory turned to mush with each pregnancy, never to return apparently. Why should this time be any different? So let's make this super official, shall we? :)
We see such great need here and abroad, but especially after our visit to Africa last summer, our search to adopt has led us to Ghana, West Africa. As it stands today, we are done with the U.S. side of things and the next step for us is heading to Ghana to spend time at the orphanages there. We are planning for a trip in July when we will hopefully identify our child, with a follow up trip in December, taking the kiddos to meet their brother or sister and allowing all of us time together in Ghana.
It is a very cool season we are in and I assure you we are a bunch of dingbats running around trying to do very grown-up things, like get government approvals here and abroad, raise kids who are passionate about Jesus and His heart for the forgotten and abandoned, teach our kids how to read, not eat their boogers, and add fractions...I know you are all jealous. It's our very own life and we are thankful.
Here's to the future! And learning how to take care of African hair and skin, YEA!!!! (this is where my AA friends start sending me all kinds of helpful info, right???? Don't leave this white mama hanging. I thank you. The next Dickerson thanks you.)
Love you all,
~kev, ang, and 3 super excited kiddos
P.S. we have some pretty sweet shirts that everyone can buy to support our adoption. Check the side bar-----> to see the options available, then email us your order at kdsooner@gmail.com!
If you don't buy one, well, I'll just say it...the world will know you don't like orphans.
Oh, I'm kinda kidding! ;)

| See?! There's space for a few more, I'd say:) |
I Suck.
Kids, we don't use this kind of language in our home that you can hear, but I have no other words for neglecting our family scrapbook. This is my weak attempt to start catching us up. I just have to post pics...re-enter this blogging world again, v e r y slowly. I'm not even putting them in order. Baby steps, Ang.

| Lainey just graduated from preschool! We had just given her this necklace as a "WAY TO GO!" gift. |
| Rhett is almost 4! He informed me last week he will now call all 'girl cheese' sandwiches boy cheese sandwiches, well, because he's a boy and it just makes sense. |

| Brains AND good looks! |
| Nat at her Book 1 piano recital. She broke the record at her studio for being the youngest to complete book 1. Show off. Bragger. |

And we HAVE to end with this...our family's favorite Lainey video of late.
The Mac laptop is worth every penny just to have "photo booth".
Whew...now that wasn't so bad. We should blog more often.
