Grant turned 3 last week.

As I've said before, Natalie LOVES taking pictures.
When I hear her giggle with camera in hand, I know she's taken "a good one."

I love her perspective.

She thinks she looks funny in door knobs, faucets, etc...creative.

OH REALLY??!!??

Since our almost 3 yr old is now coming up with some of the most entertaining excuses for...

well, everything, we've decided to add a new segment to the program called "REEEALLY!?!" (Yep yep! REALLY!!!)

Natalie, sweet Natalie, as we lay you down to sleep now, you cry til your eyes are puffy and you can't catch your breath. You seem so...I don't know, conflicted or confused. You are quick to point out at this time in your life that, all of a sudden, you don't know HOW to go to sleep. Oh really!??! Do you not know that you've been going to sleep every afternoon and every single night of your life with no problems!?! It didn't take practice and hardly any effort on Mommy and Daddy's part. I say, "Close your eyes, it'll come to you," but you try to convince us you have forgotten how to...OH REEEALLY!?!

(thinking...sleep??? nope, don't remember that one...)

And really Natalie, So You Think You Can Dance doesn't come on every night, never did, and now it's over, so you can't use "But I NEED to watch the dancing show!" anymore. Really. It's over. Sabra won...over.

(aw maaaannnn!! are you KIDDING me?? I'll think of somethin' else...)

Lastly my Dear, I know you hear this a lot more now that Lainey's here, but we're not buying that you're "just too busy!" It makes us laugh every time but, REALLY, what are you too busy doing?? Not sleeping that's for sure.

(yeah, I thought you'd enjoy that one.)
