This is the Baby Dance that Natalie (with some help from her daddy) made famous when she was a newborn. She passed her moves down to Lainey, and now to Rhett. Don't let his size fool ya, the boy's got moves...

Rhett's 1st Week

Wow! What a week! We are all absolutely smitten with the new little man of the house. He has such a sweet spirit...but what little baby doesn't I guess? He has hardly cried at all this first week, he's sleeping and eating great, and as far as being a preemie goes, his doctors and nurses said don't tell him he's a preemie because he sure doesn't know it!

It seems like he's always been here with us. He's just a natural fit...God did plan for us all to be together here so it makes sense that it seems normal:) I can't wait to get out of the house and show him to the world! We are SO proud of this little guy.

RHETT WARNER DICKERSON!

Born yesterday, July 20, at 2:35 p.m. At five weeks early, he still weighed in at a healthy 6 lbs and 20 inches long. He's doing awesome, no breathing or blood sugar issues which means no NICU! He's nursing great already and just wiggling, whimpering and sighing his way deep into our hearts. Oh yeah, and he has a p*nis. Weird.

In honor of my dad, who saw the birth of this little one long before Kev and I were even dating. For everyone who knew him, these are some of the most fitting words to describe Rhett's Papa, his passion and ministry while on earth.

Shower Time

Our sweet friends from small group threw a little party last month to celebrate Jr's upcoming arrival.

It was a fun night with friends, great food (amazing cake, Jules) and swimming. All of the blue threw me off for a minute...really. It got us all really excited though to meet the newest little boy Dickerson...not to mention one day he'll appreciate not having to wear his sisters' pink onesies;) (What is it with the lack of planning/preparation with the 3rd one anyway??)

Only 5 more weeks to go now, but he is trying hard to make an early appearance. Trying to take it easy, however one does that with 2 little ones running around:) I chopped my hair last week, washed all of his clothes (hey, let's give it up for SOME preparation!) and I'm eating chocolate non-stop and starting to swell pretty steady these days. I'd say I'm ready...ok, ALMOST ready. I want him to be ready most of all...hey little guy, how 'bout you (and me both) bake a few more weeks but let's keep the poundage to a minimum ok? :) Can't wait to love on you little mister. See you soon.
