Last week was full of it.
Action, that is.
(pull up a chair, this post is bound to be long.)
Our week started off in the inferno of L.A.
The air was smoky and thick but the view
from the plane was really unbelievable.

While we were there, Lainey learned how to play Peek-A-Boo:
(which she did with L.A.'s weirdest and wildest!)
(she usually covers her ears up! Way to go Baby Girl!)
We also stumbled across the big premier of "Dan In Real Life".
I have to admit, the BRIGHT lights and red carpet were cool.

As we were flying back, Natalie caught a stomach bug.
She was home with Nana.
Poor Nana.
She made a quick recovery though, just in time to celebrate
HER 3RD BIRTHDAY!
Every year we have a costume party with a theme to celebrate.
This year we had "A Night With the Stars".
Everyone came dressed as a movie character
and I mean everyone!
I don't know if the kids or adults had more fun dressing up.
Here are some pics from our Movie Night:

The Opening Shot

The Birthday Girl starring as "Cinderoola"

For not having a brain, he did pretty good with the camera!
Can you SEE this wig?? Napoleon holding Sully and Boo, from Monsters Inc.
Napoleon and Deb, with her caboodle of course!
Little Red Riding Hood, a.k.a. Nana
The Smiths, as Raising Arizona...genius.

The story Disney never told: Superman + Cruella=Dalmatians and Curious George. Who Knew?!

Super Lawson Family!

The Other Superman and Lois Lane/ The Accounting Firm of Schlegel and Schlegel
Patch Adams and Crew!
Look at the Too Cute Mini Mouses

Even Jim Caviezel made a special appearance
Yikes! James Dean is a pretty tough dude! You'd better watch him or he'll squirt you with ketchup.
The Devil Wears Prada to her debate tournament that was right before Nat's party;) Good thinking Shannie!
THE cutest lil' Boo! She was voted "Best Kid Costume"
The Accounting Firm of Schlegel and Schlegel delivering the list of winners for the night.
And our first winner of the night...The Best Birthday Girl Who's Turning 3!

And the winner of "Best Adult Costume" is...Ben McGregor as Napoleon Dynamite. He went on to thank his chapstick, all the little people, and in true Hollywood form declared, "George Bush Sucks!"

Superman Alex saved the night by rescuing the poor helpless baby...ok, no baby rescue. He just likes pushing strollers around and having tea with his cousin Natalie. He'll make a good daddy one day;)
Oh, do you think it ends there??? No no.
More fun ensued, but I'll save that for another post;)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATALIE!
You are one loved little girl!
