It's Not Unusual...

...to find that Rhett's seats, stroller, pack & play and stuffed animals have been taken over by his sisters or their babies at any given minute. If I had a nickel for every time I go to put him in his carseat, stroller, etc., and have to try to unbuckle everything one-handed, then remove whatever "grandchild" of mine that has sneaked into the seat...well, I'd ALMOST be rich;)

Here are just a few pics of what I'm talking about:

Poor bear, he can't escape anything right now...

No Mom, I promise I didn't just stick a PEANUT IN HIS MOUTH!!!

(Lord, HELP US!)

This Week in Pictures

Ahhh, I have so many pictures and stories to tell, I can't keep up! Rhett is now 12 weeks. He sleeps great, eats great, smiles and coos all the time, and can pretty much take anything his sisters dish out...so far.

Here are some pics from Rhett's 1st OU/TX wknd, his baby dedication, and Nat's 1st hometown football game...and maybe some extras:)

BOOMER SOONER!
Natalie, the tallest three year old in the world!

Cheering our Allen Eagles On

Rhett on his 12 week birthday

(notice the cheeks and chins are holding steady)

There's a lot of nose-suctioning going on around here right now,
not even the stuffed animals can escape the bulb syringe!

Nat now dresses herself and either does her own hair or tells me how to fix it.

Don't blame me if my child looks funky!

(She actually prefers "funky")

This is what we heard alllll weekend from Lainey...GOOOO CHEERLEADER!!!

TGIF

It's been one of those weeks.

Thank God it's the weekend and I have a girls retreat to help refresh me and get some perspective! Intentional parenting ain't for sissies, that's for sure!

In the meantime, this is a gift given to me by another mommy of three that hangs beautifully in my kitchen right now.

Sharly, love the towel...now how 'bout that drink?!

:)

On a different note, who can resist these smiley cheeks??

The Past Two Weeks

So, I didn't think life could get any faster! Whoa mama.
But boy are we having fun!!!
I'm taking lots of pics, I don't want to miss a thing.
..........
These girls are best of friends and do everything together.
This last week was the first time for Lainey not to cry when we dropped Nat off at school!
..........
Just a few things they do together these days...
Having their morning coffee after breakfast

Both girls love to read. Now, Nat loves to read to her sis.

They LOVE bug hunting.
Nat catches the critter and Lainey squeals like the girl she is!
Thanks, girls, for cleaning out my window!

Not too many people have trouble figuring out whose son Rhett is!

Rhett at 7 wks and in big boy clothes!

Last week we had a play date with our Ike refugee cousin, Macey

..........

Rhett is now 2 months old! He is a stud and packing on the pounds!

He started crying tears this past week (killer!) and started smiling too.

And the biggie, he started sleeping allll the way through the night this wknd...

as in 10p.m to 7a.m.!!!

Hallelujer.

I remember thinking this outfit would NEVER fit him!

What a hoss!

And finally, the kiddos at the Balloon Festival this wknd

SWEET TIMES!!!

Thank you, Father, for this gift of time.

You are the Giver of every good gift.

Nat's Big Week

Natalie started preschool this week and loved it. She, yet again, towers over every kid in her class and made friends right away with everyone in the room. I loved watching her go up and introduce herself..."I'm Natalie..." That was usually followed by a blank stare and silence from the new "friend" but still, I love how friendly she is!

Natalie also started "real" gymnastics in July. Nat lives for gymnastics day and she flips all over the house in the meantime. Today, Sassy Pants was invited to join the "mini-tumblers" class, which is an "invitation-only" class for 4-6 yr olds! She is so pumped and we were so excited for her and are soooo proud! This is THE coolest, watching your child grow up and come into their own little by little. Mommy and Daddy haven't stopped smiling all day:) And of course we have pics...

My first day of preschool and my way cool backpack I picked out!

Nat LOVES posing now!
Here she is after her gymnastics "promotion"

One of many ways we wear Natalie out...unleash The Tornado!

GO GET HER NAT!!!
