The Past Two Weeks

So, I didn't think life could get any faster! Whoa mama.
But boy are we having fun!!!
I'm taking lots of pics, I don't want to miss a thing.
..........
These girls are best of friends and do everything together.
This last week was the first time for Lainey not to cry when we dropped Nat off at school!
..........
Just a few things they do together these days...
Having their morning coffee after breakfast

Both girls love to read. Now, Nat loves to read to her sis.

They LOVE bug hunting.
Nat catches the critter and Lainey squeals like the girl she is!
Thanks, girls, for cleaning out my window!

Not too many people have trouble figuring out whose son Rhett is!

Rhett at 7 wks and in big boy clothes!

Last week we had a play date with our Ike refugee cousin, Macey

..........

Rhett is now 2 months old! He is a stud and packing on the pounds!

He started crying tears this past week (killer!) and started smiling too.

And the biggie, he started sleeping allll the way through the night this wknd...

as in 10p.m to 7a.m.!!!

Hallelujer.

I remember thinking this outfit would NEVER fit him!

What a hoss!

And finally, the kiddos at the Balloon Festival this wknd

SWEET TIMES!!!

Thank you, Father, for this gift of time.

You are the Giver of every good gift.

Nat's Big Week

Natalie started preschool this week and loved it. She, yet again, towers over every kid in her class and made friends right away with everyone in the room. I loved watching her go up and introduce herself..."I'm Natalie..." That was usually followed by a blank stare and silence from the new "friend" but still, I love how friendly she is!

Natalie also started "real" gymnastics in July. Nat lives for gymnastics day and she flips all over the house in the meantime. Today, Sassy Pants was invited to join the "mini-tumblers" class, which is an "invitation-only" class for 4-6 yr olds! She is so pumped and we were so excited for her and are soooo proud! This is THE coolest, watching your child grow up and come into their own little by little. Mommy and Daddy haven't stopped smiling all day:) And of course we have pics...

My first day of preschool and my way cool backpack I picked out!

Nat LOVES posing now!
Here she is after her gymnastics "promotion"

One of many ways we wear Natalie out...unleash The Tornado!

GO GET HER NAT!!!

Who You Calling Preemie??

The little man of the house is getting bigger by the day, weighing in at almost 11 pounds at the 6 week mark. The last few nights, Rhett has gone 5-6 hours in between feedings! YEA! Now if Lainey would just get all her teeth in already, poor baby... maybe a good night's sleep is just around the corner for all of us! Pics from this week...

Excuse me, does this shirt make my cheeks look fat?

Yeah, I'm kind of a big deal around here...

Can't you give me something stronger than Motrin, Mom??

Rhett 4 Weeks

Sleep????? Really, who needs it???!!

He's staying up now for almost 2 hours at a time.

We love seeing his eyes!

Hello?? Look at the double chin! This kid isn't even supposed to be born yet!

I love it!

Helping Mommy celebrate her 32nd birthday!

What a great gift I didn't expect.

At 4 weeks old he weighs 9 pounds, 2 oz and is 21 inches long...

Those were almost Natalie's exact measurements from birth! Whewww.

Self portrait, for her myspace default pic no doubt;)

With her cousin, Macey

Now, WHY am I still up?????

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..........
