Ahhhhh, Spring

With spring comes new life.
Praise God, that's happening in more ways than one for us this season.
(Oh yeah, I'm pregnant!?!)

We will play catch-up later but here are some pics
from Easter, our first family outing
(and 1st time back to church) since Christmas.
What a refreshing time!
Nat and Daddy looking so cute and matchy on Easter
Our 3yr old takes all of our pics now...the crookedness is just her artistic flare
Nat LOVES XOXOing on her baby BROTHER:)
Daddy gettin the smiles with the ol' "count the ribs" routine
Ok Nat, let's get some cute Mommy/Daughter pics...
Ok, seriously now, smile!....
Fuggeddaboudit...

Back to hair and makeup before the big finale...

And "Sisters Shoot" take 1...

Natalie, give me more emotion honey...

C'mon, I know you've got more attitude than that girl...

Ok, forget it...again.

On to sugar happy baby...

Like Rebekah said, after what this girl has been through, she deserves a big fat donut.

And the sugar crash!

(with sugar still intact!)

Ms.Winfrey Would Be Impressed

Although our sweet Lainey has been hospitalized yet again, different tears were filling my eyes tonight courtesy of Natalie.

Nat is staying with Liz today and the kids were outside picking berries this afternoon. Liz asked her what she was going to do with her berries. Natalie told her they were for her wedding (of course! what else are they for???) Liz asked who she was going to marry...Natalie sweetly and confidently replied, "God has a man for me." She then returned to harvesting her berries.

Now, this is where Oprah would mention something about the law of attraction and say she is "placing her order with the universe." I say the Creator of the universe, the One who put the laws in motion, is birthing a dream inside of her at the tender age of 3. What a special moment to hear about tonight.

Another of Nat's Loves

(We're gonna have to keep an eye on these two!)

I found this pic of Lainey tonight and love it! What an angel...

From the Mouths of Babes

The moment we told Natalie we were having another baby
she quipped back that Mommy was having a boy but
she (Natalie) would be having a girl...in the mountains.

Ouch. No ski trips for you until you are married, Sweet Girl.

When Liz told Grant he was having another cousin,
he too confidently stated it was a boy.

Interesting. We'll find out in a few weeks if we birthed prophets or not;)

A few pics, so we don't forget what the girls looked like winter '07...

Really, such a natural.

A long drink for a dry spirit

Pregnancy tends to be such a self-centered time.

Although it's sometimes necessary, I don't like it. It's not satisfying.

Worship music changes all of that for me, no matter what situation I find myself in.

I am redirected almost instantly, my focus shifts, and I find myself humbly in front of the One who saved me once again. Focus off of me.

Then all is right in my world, even if only for an hour. My spirit feels strong.

I'm learning to never underestimate the power of music, no matter what kind you enjoy.

Whatever the message, with repetition, it fills us up.

This is what's quenching our thirst this morning...
