A Friend's Gift

My sweet friend, Kristin, is the Martha Stewart of my world. She has many gifts and talents, photography being one of them. She gave me one of the best baby gifts ever, a session with our precious baby boy. Seeing our new love through somebody else's lens is...well, THE BEST!

Chillin' at Two Weeks

Rhett is such a chill little dude, we could probably count the number of times he has cried since we've come home. He doesn't even cry when he's hungry...he just chews on his arm quietly until we notice he's awake. HELLO MOMMY GUILT!

The girls set this picture up and had great fun picking out just the right buddies for their bubba...

He's "waking up" this week and we love how he looks at us!

This is the Baby Dance that Natalie (with some help from her daddy) made famous when she was a newborn. She passed her moves down to Lainey, and now to Rhett. Don't let his size fool ya, the boy's got moves...

Rhett's 1st Week

Wow! What a week! We are all absolutely smitten with the new little man of the house. He has such a sweet spirit...but what little baby doesn't I guess? He has hardly cried at all this first week, he's sleeping and eating great, and as far as being a preemie goes, his doctors and nurses said don't tell him he's a preemie because he sure doesn't know it!

It seems like he's always been here with us. He's just a natural fit...God did plan for us all to be together here so it makes sense that it seems normal:) I can't wait to get out of the house and show him to the world! We are SO proud of this little guy.
